Cairns

While it is usually a jump-off port for the Great Barrier Reef, Cairns can also become a destination for destination for trekking, discovering secret islands along the reef, exploring the Daintree Rainforest and even gliding through the rainforest canopy. Cairns also is home to the Esplanade, which is a swimming lagoon where you can freely bask under the sun as you enjoy the panoramic views of the Trinity Inlet.

Alotau

Located in south-east Papua New Guinea, Alotau serves as the gateway to the Milne Bay Province, which is popular for some swimming, snorkelling, and scuba diving, due to its colourful and wonderfully diverse collection of coral reefs.

Kiriwina Island

The largest among the Trobriand Islands, and part of the beautiful Milne Bay Province is Kiriwina, and is home to only 12,000 people. It is a town of uplifted coral reefs, traditional villages, and farming plains, carrying a very rural feel as you explore its footpaths and dirt roads.

Honiara

Located on the island of Guadalcanal, Honiara was built on land that saw some of the bloodiest battles of WWII. Now the capital and base of tourism to the beautiful Solomon Islands, this city offers something to satisfy the desires of history junkies, nature lovers, shoppers, and everyone in between. Spend your days picking up crafts at the outdoor markets or exploring the Botanical Garden's orchid collection, and your nights eating coconut crab and playing Pacific Poker, two local specialties.

Port Vila

In Port Vila, Vanuatus energetic capital, youll be greeted by friendly Bislama-speaking locals and street-side markets. Walk around the center of town ? youll see a touch of French influence still remains in the form of bistros and murals.

Mystery Island

Desert-island-feels await in this awe-inspiring destination, while tiny, will take you on big adventures, amidst white sand beachfronts, palm trees, and colorful reefs. Here, you can swim, snorkel, or kayak on a glass boat to get a view of the corals.

Lautoka

Serving as the entry point to Fiji is Lautoka, which has been nicknamed Sugar City for its sugar cane belt areas. As you make a stop here, you can visit some of the quaint cafes and enjoy a cup as you marvel at Mt. Koroyanitu in the background.

Dravuni Island

The volcanic island of Dravuni beckons you to explore, along the several islands that sit within the Great Astrolabe Reef. Dravuni is where you can find the University of the South Pacific's research facility on coral cay conservation, and you can also see these corals for yourself from the crystal-clear waters.

Vava'U Tonga

Vava'u is the ultimate destination for adventure seekers who want to experience diving with humpback whales. Located in the northern group of islands in the Kingdom of Tonga, Vava'u is home to untouched beaches, and is perfect for those looking to do some sailing, fishing, and diving as well.

Nuku Alofa (Tonga)

The capital of Tonga, Nuku Alofa is located in the southernmost island group of Tonga, and is a snug, tropical, economic and transportation, as well as a broad waterfront with stunning views of the coral islands. If you have the spare time, there are 1-day tours around the charming island.

Napier

The seaport tourist city of Napier located on Hawke Bay allows cruisers to marvel at the beautiful Pania of the Reef, an important figure of M?ori mythology. Thousands go here every February to attend the Tremains Art Deco Weekend event to celebrate the city's Art Deco inspired heritage.

Wellington

Perched on the edge of a spectacular harbour and encircled by green, towering hills, Wellington is a stunning and compact city. Vibrant, exciting and cultured, New Zealand's capital combines the sophistication of a big city with the quirkiness of a charming village.

Port Chalmers

Lying at the head of a fiord-like inlet surrounded by seven hills, this city was once the largest and wealthiest city in the country, thanks to its gold fields. It's said to be one of the most perfectly preserved Victorian cities in the world.

Burnie

As you travel towards west Tasmania, you'll discover Burnie, where you can explore waterfalls, lookouts, and visit gardens and various nature trails. You'll also be surrounded by the art deco and federation streets to learn about the port city's history as you get a taste of its award-winning whisky and cheese.
