Join us on a cruise to Fiji and discover for yourself why the archipelago is known as one of the happiest places in the world. From cosmopolitan cities to authentic adventures, we’ve spent over 86 years finding the best the country has to offer - and we can’t wait to share it with you. As always, our onboard crew will help you feel relaxed from the moment you step onto the ship, long before you take your first dip into crystal-clear waters.
Itinerary Highlights:
Lautoka
Lautoka is Fiji’s second largest city and located just 24 km north of Nadi on the largest island of Viti Levu. It is also known as ‘Sugar City’ for the surrounding sugarcane fields, the regions’ staple industry.
It is believed that the word ‘Lautoka’ was shouted during a spear fight between two duelling chiefs. Now home to an array of authentic and international restaurants and with a beautiful backdrop of Mt Koroyanitu (Mt Evans), Lautoka is home to some beautiful tropical oases.
Lautoka is the ideal destination to explore the Spend the day exploring on the South Sea Island Day Cruise shore tour. Board a high-speed catamaran at the dock and head out to the deep blue waters of the South Pacific. There are awe-inspiring views of Denarau, a man-made island created from reclaimed mangrove swamps, and the extensive sugarcane fields that dot the Viti Levu coastline, the largest of the Fiji islands.
Dravuni Island
A perfect example of timelessness, Dravuni Island is a Pacific island virtually unchanged for thousands of years.
Dravuni Island is a very small island at the northern end of the Kadavu Group. It is virtually surrounded by the Great Astrolabe Reef, renowned as a diver's paradise. The reef was named after French explorer Dumont d'Urville's ship "Astrolabe", which struck the reef in the 1820’s.
There are no vehicles, no department stores, no cinemas. In fact, nothing much at all that tells you we are living in the 21st century. It is one of the Pacific's most unspoilt destinations. It is also one of the least populated islands in the Fijian islands group, with less than 200 inhabitants.
