Day 1: Arrive in Reykjavik
Arrive in Iceland’s capital and make your way to your included hotel. Enjoy the day exploring the city at your leisure.
Day 2: Embark Reykjavik
This afternoon, you’ll board your vessel in Reykjavik and begin your expedition. Get ready for a great adventure ahead on our technologically-advanced ship Ultramarine, which is equipped with two twin-engine helicopters and a fleet of 20 quick-launching Zodiacs to deliver unique off-ship experiences in South Greenland.
Days 3–4: At Sea (Denmark Strait)
Sail across the Denmark Strait toward Greenland. Attend expert-led briefings on wildlife, geology, and glaciology while spotting seabirds and whales along the way.
Days 5–6: The Wild East
Arrive in South Greenland’s dramatic east coast, home to towering fjords, glaciers, and abundant wildlife such as humpback whales and seabirds. Enjoy heli-landings, Zodiac cruises, and hiking in untouched icescapes like Lindenow Fjord (Kangerlussuaq).
Days 7–8: The Westlands
Explore the contrasting landscapes of the Greenland Ice Sheet and lush coastal valleys rich in Viking and Inuit heritage. Visit UNESCO-listed Kujataa, Qassiarsuk, and Erik the Red’s Brattahlíð estate. Fly by helicopter over the Ice Sheet and engage with local communities in Qassiarsuk.
Days 9–11: Arctic Patagonia
Cruise through the spectacular Prins Christian Sund, one of the world’s most scenic fjords. Visit the colorful village of Aappilattoq, meet local residents, and explore the steep-walled Tasermiut Fjord—known as “Arctic Patagonia.” Optional camping and helicopter excursions offer breathtaking glacier and mountain views.
Days 12–13: At Sea (Return Transit)
Sail back across the Denmark Strait. Relax with onboard presentations, share photos, and celebrate the journey with your Expedition Team.
Day 14: Disembark Reykjavik
