New York Landmarks Cruise - Standard Ticket

This New York harbor cruise allows you to marvel at the magnificent views of the world’s most iconic skyline and affords a close encounter with Lady Liberty. You are privy to some of New York’s most famous landmarks on this one-and-a-half hour-narrated cruise of the New York Harbour. Experience the grandeur of midtown and lower Manhattan from the luxury of a fantastic seaworthy vessel. The Circle Line passes every sight two times, making this cruise ideal for getting just the “right” photo of your favourite landmarks, and allowing you to experiment with some creative ones too! The boat trip lasts approximately one and a half hours which affords you plenty of opportunity to socialize with the other guests whilst admiring the stunning panoramic views of Manhattan and Brooklyn, New York’s most famous and revered of the five boroughs. You have ample opportunity to peruse our onboard shop, where credit and debit cards are accepted for your convenience. Our aim is for you to have the most incredible experience possible, and our staff are friendly and eager to help in any way. The close-up view of the Statue of Liberty will leave you in awe, and learn the difficulties involved in ensuring its creation, including funding and transportation issues. The creation of the statue was funded by donations from more than 120,000 contributors, most of whom could only give about a dollar. This statue is one of the most impressive community figures and the Cruise allows you to get a perfect picture of her.

Meet The Met: Extended Metropolitan Museum of Art Tour

It’s possible to spend an entire day inside the Metropolitan Museum of Art and still not see everything, but this guided Met tour is the best way to take advantage of the riches that are inside one of the world’s greatest art museums. See the highlights of the collection and get special insight into the works of art on display, all within a small-group atmosphere. Boasting one of the world's largest art collections and spread over a whopping 17 acres (7 ha), The Met can be overwhelming. Scope out the best pieces in the museum's galleries with an expert guide, getting special insight into the stories behind the art on this small-group tour. Walk up the hallowed steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, a New York icon since its founding in 1870. This world-renowned institution boasts a collection of more than 2 million objects, from Roman artefacts to 19th-century paintings. Your guide leads you by models of Egyptian tombs to the Temple of Dendur, which dates to 15 BC. Cross over to Tudor-era England to check out King Henry VIII's suit of armour, and hear the legends that surround the Antioch Chalice—believed to be the Holy Grail. Meander through the Greek and Roman statuary, absorbing the sense of history as you admire ancient frescoes and the busts of emperors past. Watch the sunlight filter through Art Nouveau stained-glass windows by Louis Comfort Tiffany, and ponder a bronze cast of Rodin's The Thinker. Admire the brushstrokes in landscapes painted by Monet and Van Gogh, and study moody works by Rembrandt and Vermeer. Listen to the story that inspired David's Death of Socrates, hear about the scandal behind John Singer Sargent's Madame X, and stand before Leutze's Washington Crossing the Delaware. Weather dependent, your tour ends at the rooftop sculpture garden for sweeping views over Central Park and the city skyline
