Best of Tokyo Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Tokyo
You will arrive at the International Airport and be greeted by your driver who will transfer you to your hotel in the city center. The transfer will be smooth and comfortable, and your driver will help you with your luggage. Once you arrive at the hotel, you will have time to settle in and freshen up. Later in the evening, you will meet other travellers on the same trip as you in the hotel lobby. You will be introduced to our tour guide, who will brief you on the itinerary for the next three days. After the briefing, you'll venture out for a Welcome Dinner at a nearby local restaurant. This will be an excellent opportunity to get acquainted with your fellow travellers and your tour guide while sampling some delectable local cuisine. The carefully selected restaurant will offer an authentic taste of Japanese food in a warm and inviting setting. You'll have the chance to savour local delicacies like sushi, tempura, or ramen, and gain insights into the rich history and culture behind these dishes. Enjoy the evening, creating connections and indulging in the culinary delights of Japan. Overnight in Tokyo.
Day 2: Tokyo City Tour
On the second day of our 4-day small group tour in Tokyo, you'll experience some of the city's most iconic landmarks and attractions. The day begins with a visit to the Tsukiji Fish Market, one of the world's largest fish markets. Here, you can witness the famous tuna auction and enjoy fresh seafood for breakfast. Next, we'll stroll through the historic neighbourhood of Asakusa, exploring the renowned Senso-ji Temple and the bustling Nakamise shopping street. Our journey continues to the Imperial Palace East Garden, a serene oasis in the heart of the city with beautiful gardens and historic ruins, perfect for a relaxing break. We'll then venture into the lively Shibuya district, famed for its trendy fashion and vibrant nightlife. Here, you'll witness the iconic Shibuya Crossing, one of the busiest intersections in the world. Overnight in Tokyo.
Day 3: Mount Fuji Day Tour
The third day of our 4-day small group tour in Tokyo is dedicated to a day trip to Mount Fuji, Japan's highest mountain and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We'll visit the 5th Station, a popular starting point for climbing Mount Fuji, and enjoy stunning views of the surrounding area. You'll be amazed by the breathtaking beauty of the mountain and its surroundings. Next, we'll take a cruise on Lake Ashi, where you can see the iconic Hakone Shrine torii gate and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. The cruise offers a relaxing and peaceful way to take in the stunning scenery. After the cruise, we'll take the Komagatake Ropeway for panoramic views of Mount Fuji and the surrounding landscape. The views from the ropeway are truly breathtaking, providing a perfect opportunity to take some memorable photos. We'll then enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, where you can sample some of the best cuisine that the region has to offer. Overnight in Tokyo.
Day 4: Embarkation Cruise
You will check out of your hotel and your driver will transfer you to the Tokyo port to embark on your cruise. The transfer will be smooth and comfortable, and your driver will help you with your luggage.
